Legacy of Biblical Womanhood, etc., etc.

There has been so much going on lately I thought I would give reason why I have not posted much here lately. We had Ukrainiac, Marianna Peipon, stay in our home this week with her husband, Dr. Jim Peipon. Amazing family and ministry in Ukraine. When I took the Peipon's to the airport for their departing flight, we also met up with another blogger friend, Connie Dugas from Practicing Theology. I also use to attend GBC in Tulsa with Connie where Dennis Gundersen is the pastor WAY before I knew what a blog was. I will write more details and post pics later about this. I will tell you that we fell in love with the Peipon's!!!
I am also preparing to have several women meet in my home twice a month. Our group will be called Legacy of Biblical Womanhood and you can probably figure out what our focus will be. In April, we will begin in a little booklet called Biblical Portrait of Womanhood: Discovering and Living Out God's Plan for our Lives. We will then move on to Disciplines of a Godly Woman. I will try to post info about our study here. Perhaps you can join us wherever you are. We will begin April 14th.
My time has been spent more with my family, in prayer, in preparation and prayer for this upcoming study with the women, studying the Word of God, helping my oldest boy's band VIVIT, and making decisions with my husband regarding schooling changes for our children.
We have brought our 2 girls home for full-time homeschooling and will begin studies in Beautiful Feet and Math-U-See. We will also be taking cooking classes together, going to Grandma's for sewing and knitting, and the girls will be dabbling in some gymnastics. I use to teach gymnastics, but I do not bend like that anymore. :-D Our four boys will continue attending Christian schools and yes, we are praying about adopting and very open to God's call in this area.
We are almost finished with our seemingly forever home projects. Right now we are trying to finish up the backyard.

That is it in a nutshell. I have some posts written and ready for prayerful review before posting and I have some on the back-burner. Press on in HIS truth and HIS love for HIS glory!!!

Praying for you, my friend. We fell in love with you and your family as well when we shared those almost 48 hours! I'm excited about all the schooling decisions you've made...and especially Beautiful Feet!

Press on, dear one, in the strength of the Lord. I will be praying for you as you begin your women's study -- I'll try to find the books and get them ordered before we head back to Ukraine.

I do have to chuckle at your comment about finishing up the backyard. Someone might think this is a small project...like planting bushes or a flower garden. NOTHING small about that backyard project! Can't wait to see what it looks like down the road!!!

Hugs to all!

Hey Marianna,
Thank you SO MUCH for recommending Beautiful Feet. I am very excited and so are the girls! And thank you for praying. We start the study tomorrow.
(When the backyard is complete, I'll post pics.)
We miss you guys! And pray for you with such joy and fondness.
Much love,
Lisa
