Legacy of Biblical Womanhood Study Schedule for "Biblical Portrait of Womanhood"

A quiet revolution of women willing to pattern their lives after God's Word will be gathering in my home twice a month beginning tomorrow. This group of women will be studying Biblical Womanhood as we pursue fulfilling the purpose for which we were created.

We will begin our study using a little booklet called:
"Biblical Portrait of Womanhood: Discovering and Living Out God's Plan for our Lives" by Nancy Leigh DeMoss

April 14, 2009 Introduction and Self-Evaluation (pg.22)
Luncheon to precede this study.
Note: We will begin at noon today. Please bring a finger food to share.

April 28, 2009 Why was I created as a woman? (pg.8)

May 12, 2009 What makes a beautiful woman? (pg.10)

May 26, 2009 How does a woman of God conduct herself? (pg.12)

June 9, 2009 What is God’s plan for me as a wife? (pg.13)

Study on your own: How does God want to use me in others’ lives? (pg.16)

o Please bring your book and a notebook each meeting.
o Some of the teenagers will be available to look after children.
o We will begin at 12:30 unless we are beginning a new study, which means we will begin at noon and kick off the new study with a luncheon.
o In the summer months, kids can swim (please remember modesty).
o There will be structure to each meeting, with flexibility.
o Each meeting will include prayer focused on study,teaching and discussion on questions for each topic, prayer needs.

We will begin our study in "Disciplines of a Godly Woman" by Barbara Hughes on June 23rd!
