I attend a very large non-denominational Bible church -- it is conservative theologically-speaking, but very liberal in it\u0026#39;s interpretation or acceptance of the \u0026quot;come as you are\u0026quot; approach to worship (anything goes).\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003eI was convicted about wearing a covering after I read about it on a blog and website.  I did a lot of personal study, researched using my Bible study books, etc., and then determined for myself that the literal interpretation of 1 Cor. 11 works for me (I read all the pros/cons out there).\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003eThe thing I wanted to mention is that in the course of three years, this covering issue is exploding on the Internet.  Women from all conservative churches are saying the same thing:  I felt called or led to cover my head.  I have read blogs written by feminists (former), Anglicans, Roman Catholics, fundamentalist Christians, Anabaptists (who have traditionally worn coverings), conservative Jews, etc.  The Holy Spirit of God is working in the hearts of women throughout the church and calling them to return to modest living.\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003eWhat does this mean?  I don\u0026#39;t know, but it is clearly evident that something is happening, one woman at a time.  Perhaps it is a cultural backlash and women are just fed up with the lack of reverence in dress shown for their Lord at church?  Perhaps it is a headship issue and women are praying for their husbands to assume the spiritual leader role in the family?  Perhaps it really is a spiritual revolution or reformation, whereby the Holy Spirit of God is begining His preparatory work -- preparing the church for Jesus\u0026#39; Glorious return?\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003eAll I know is that I used to feel odd or like I was the only one who felt this way.  Not so anymore.
